Why We Started From Scratch

The decision to build from the ground up was deliberate. A clean foundation meant every workflow, every screen, every interaction could be designed around how garages actually operate — not how a generic business platform assumes they do.

That meant thinking carefully about the two groups of people a garage management system affects: the team running the workshop, and the customers whose vehicles pass through it. BOOKAR was built with both in mind from day one.

What the Platform Does

At its core, BOOKAR connects the full lifecycle of a job in a single system. Customers book online, those bookings flow directly into the workshop as work orders, technicians manage progress through a clean job board, and invoices are issued on completion — without anyone re-entering data or switching between tools.

The platform also includes a Vehicle Health Check module with digital customer authorisation, OEM technical data via TecRMI, parts inventory management, a full CRM with vehicle service history, and automated customer communications via SMS and email. Online booking, two-way messaging, digital authorisation requests, automated reminders, and text-to-pay aren't add-ons — they're core to how the platform works.

For owners and managers, a reporting suite covers revenue, parts margins, job turnaround times, and technician performance.

Design That Does Real Work
